As part of the Product Management team within the Information Management, the QA Analyst will work closely with product owners, development teams, UX/UI resources and business analysts to ensure that software applications and systems work according to requirements and end user satisfaction.  The QA Analyst will coordinate with team members under an Agile Scrum process to rapidly deliver functionality to users in small, manageable pieces in order to learn quickly through a “fail fast, learn fast” iterative process.    


The Information Management team evaluates, recommends and implements technologies; performs maintenance and upgrades / updates on software, hardware, operation systems and databases in the PLI offices and a co-location facility.



  • Develop test plans and test cases based on user story acceptance criteria and other requirements.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Execute test cases and identify tests as candidates for inclusion in the automated functional regression suite.
  • Document functional and non-functional defects, working with product owners to triage and prioritize defects for resolution by the development team, and verify that defects have been addressed.
  • Report on all aspects of the testing process.
  • Identify gaps and suggest improvements to both the systems under test and the overall testing process.
  • Work with development resources in order to leverage PLI’s Selenium testing framework in order to develop test scripts.
  • Other projects, as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s level degree in Computer Science or other technical field.
  • Minimum of two years in QA or development role.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with software developers and other QA members.
  • Knowledge of Selenium or other automated testing frameworks required.
  • Knowledge of Jira or other test management system is preferred.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred.
