The IT Business Analyst ensures continuous delivery of clear business value to stakeholders and customers.  The analyst communicates organization needs, designs new or refines existing processes, and manages system change in general.  Furthermore, the analyst facilitates DevOps and agile methodology in software development through scrum, quality assurance, and project portfolio management.  The position is highly cross-functional in areas of business analysis, quality assurance, project management, and application support.



  • Business Analysis
  • Analyze and evaluate the needs of stakeholders, and accordingly, any products, services, systems, processes, or workflows affected by those needs.
  • Scope, elicit, analyze and document business requirements for both new and existing applications using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • The Business Analyst will conduct requirements-gathering, impact analysis and document user stories, use cases, scenarios, system features, business rules, functional requirements, and others as needed.
  • Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior.
  • Drive the resolution of issues identified during the analysis, design and testing phases.
  • Scrum Management - Manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow-through on all assigned features to ensure they are ready for release within the allotted sprint.
  • Application Support - Investigate, analyze and prioritize activities to support Level 2 IT maintenance and enhancement efforts.
  • Support DevOps - Coordinate closely with DevOps team to support continuous delivery.
  • Quality Assurance - Conduct quality assurance with Behavior Driven Development (“BDD”) approach to validate working/viable software. Perform regression tests and participate in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • 3+ years IT/IS business analysis experience Experience in the legal industry a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field highly preferred.
  • Experience with gathering and documenting requirements. Ability to create Use Cases, User Stories and Business Process Models.
  • Must demonstrate superior analytical ability with logic, reasoning, and attention to detail. Ability to investigate and analyze data with appropriate tools.
  • Work experience in an agile development environment is required. Candidate must have the know-how to execute a project using agile methodologies, software, and tools.
  • Experience with developing QA test plans/scripts.
  • Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with business and IT teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to communicate requirements in a clear manner which can be easily interpreted.
  • Proactive, self-motived, highly organized, curious, and creative.
  • Proficient mastery of Microsoft Office applications, SQL, Jira, Confluence, major Internet browsers, HTML and XML structure is necessary.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, Google Analytics, Mongo database, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience working on legacy modernization projects is a plus.
