Practising Law Institute (“PLI”), an innovative leader in legal education programs and services, is searching for an experienced professional to fill the role of Conference Coordinator. This position requires three to five years customer service-oriented experience. PLI’s client base includes a large array of prestigious law firms, corporations and government agencies.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about event planning and enjoys a flexible schedule.
This on-call role supports all the conference needs on the day of a Practising Law Institute (“PLI”) program, including setting up the food and beverage needs in the conference lounge area, as well as the registration of participants on the day of a program. In addition, this role is a resource for any program participant questions. This position may also support conference center needs for outside entities who rent the PLI conference center space for private company events.
This Conference Coordinator will have an on-call schedule, which is arranged approximately two months in advance. On-call shifts vary in volume and certain times of year are busier than others, thus the ideal candidate should have flexible availability to pick up anywhere from 2-12 shifts per month.
